When I bought my pc in 2007, the price for the hardware was about 1300 €.
In my opinion I prefer in contrast to such "Prefabricated-PCs", self-assembled PCs, which make sure that you only mount hardware you really need.
Often PC manufacturer force people to buy the more expensive hardware, because you have no possibility to take the cheaper hardware in e. g. a certain series.
As well the spare part purchasing is very simplier and cheaper.
Frequently I'm asked because of my "large" 24 inch screen: The advantage is of course the "Everything on one view concept".
Most of all it's better to webdesign and do some remote work.
